This refined pair of antique wall sconces comes from Lyon and reflects the decorative sophistication associated with French design at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The design combines Rococo movement with Neoclassical balance, resulting in a graceful silhouette that feels both ornamental and architectural.
Each sconce features a deeply curved arm enriched with vegetal motifs, scrolls, and finely cast details. The surviving traces of original gilding over the patinated bronze give the pair a warm, time-softened appearance that adds atmosphere and depth to any interior.
